Heather Kochanowicz of Coteva Named President of the Virginia Association of Health Underwriters

VINT HILL, VA. – August 9, 2017 – Heather Kochanowicz has been elected President of the Virginia Association of Health Underwriters (VAHU), a statewide organization representing licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals in Virginia who service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as individuals.

Kochanowicz, of Vint Hill, is exceptionally qualified for the position of President. Kochanowicz has been active in VAHU since 2012. Previously, Kochanowicz served as Northern Virginia Chapter President, VAHU Secretary and State Conference chair.

Kochanowicz said this is a pivotal time for the association. “With the critical issues currently facing our industry, VAHU’s role as advocate for Virginia’s health insurance brokers is more important than ever,” she said. “VAHU must continue to provide the most up-to-date information to our members about the constantly changing regulations they need to know. We serve as an important source of information for the legislators who craft those regulations.”

Kochanowicz is the Chief Marketing and Product Specialist for Coteva, a software company specializing in enrollment and eligibility management for the TPA industry.
